Legor NEUT-SA Neutraliser for Electroplating Baths 1 kg

The Legor NEUT-SA Neutraliser represents an advancement in the preparation of jewellery pieces for electroplating. It stands out for its effectiveness, fast action and ease of preparation, requiring a dosage of just 50 g per litre of water.

Only 30 seconds of treatment are required to neutralise the pieces before electroplating.

It helps prevent most problems caused by contamination of electroplating solutions, typically resulting from residues of alkaline compounds used in conventional ultrasonic cleaning and electrolytic degreasing processes.

Skipping the neutralisation stage, using either this product or acidified water, may cause the pH of the plating bath to increase, potentially leading to partial or complete deterioration of the electroplating solution.

Instructions for Use

1. Dissolve 50 g of the product per litre of water in the container intended for neutralisation.

2. Securely suspend the piece to be treated using copper wire.

3. Clean the piece using an ultrasonic cleaner or with soap and water.

4. Rinse thoroughly with distilled water.

5. Without touching the piece directly with your hands, immerse it in the neutralising solution for 30 seconds at room temperature, without applying electrical current.

6. Rinse with distilled water.

7. Proceed with the desired electroplating process.

Important: Avoid touching the pieces directly with your hands after cleaning to prevent contamination that could affect the quality of the electroplated finish.
