Warranty and Returns Policy — Lingold Ferramentas
Warranties
Products sold by Lingold Ferramentas are covered by the warranties provided under Portuguese law. For consumers, new movable goods generally benefit from a 3-year statutory guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery.
If you discover a defect or fault during the warranty period, please contact us at admin@lingold.pt, stating your order number, the product reference and a description of the problem. We will explain the appropriate procedure, respecting your statutory rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract, as applicable.
After the warranty period has ended, you may request an assessment and a repair quotation where this service is available. Repairs will only be carried out once the quotation has been approved.
Returns — Right of Withdrawal
For online purchases, consumers generally have 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to notify us of their decision to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason. Where several products from the same order are delivered separately, this period generally starts when the last product is received.
To exercise this right, send an unequivocal statement to admin@lingold.pt, including your order number and the products you wish to return. After notifying us, you have a further 14 calendar days to send the products back.
Products must be suitably packaged for transport, preferably with their original packaging, accessories and documentation. Opening the packaging or carrying out a normal inspection of the product does not, in itself, remove the right of withdrawal. Consumers may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
The direct cost of returning products following withdrawal is borne by the customer, provided the customer was duly informed of this condition, unless otherwise agreed or required by law. We recommend using a tracked delivery service with proof of delivery.
The right of withdrawal is subject to exceptions established by law, particularly for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, where the relevant legal conditions are met.
Refunds
In the event of a valid withdrawal, Lingold Ferramentas will refund payments received, including the initial delivery charge up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. Additional charges arising from a more expensive delivery option selected by the customer will not be refunded.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notification of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned products or the customer provides evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise, at no additional cost to the consumer. Where necessary, we may request the information required to arrange an alternative refund method.
Any necessary accounting documents, including credit notes where applicable, will be issued in accordance with the law.
Faulty or Incorrect Products
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at admin@lingold.pt, stating the order number, product reference and a description of the issue. You may include photographs to help us assess the situation.
Where the statutory guarantee applies, the remedies provided by law will be available, free of charge to the consumer where legally required. These cases are separate from returns made simply because the customer has changed their mind.
Exchanges
To request a voluntary exchange for a different model or reference, please contact us preferably within 14 days of receipt. Exchanges are subject to product availability and conditions communicated in advance. This option does not restrict statutory withdrawal or warranty rights.
