Electroplating Rack with 8 Hooks and 50 cm Cable

Electroplating rack with eight hooks, suitable for use with all types of electroplating baths.

Manufactured from high-quality materials resistant to the chemicals found in electroplating solutions. It features a central rod fitted with eight flexible copper wires that can be shaped into hooks to suspend jewellery pieces during the electroplating process.

Includes an interchangeable connector for connection to the electroplating equipment and a stainless steel hook that allows the rack to be positioned in the centre of the plating tank.

Instructions for Use

Before using the rack for the first time, remove a small section of the plastic coating from the ends of the copper wires, exposing the areas that will make contact with the pieces being plated.

It is recommended to lightly sand or polish the contact areas of the wires after several uses to ensure good electrical conductivity. The accumulation of metal deposits from electroplating baths can significantly reduce conductivity.

Maintenance

When using the rack with different types of electroplating baths, rinse it first under running water and then with distilled water.

This procedure helps prevent cross-contamination between different electroplating solutions caused by residues carried over from previously used baths.
