Technoflux 5N Rose Gold Plating Bath – 1 Litre

The Technoflux 5N Rose Gold Plating Bath deposits a uniform, bright rose gold coating onto the pieces being treated, providing a high-quality decorative finish.

Specifically developed for decorative jewellery applications, this fast-deposition plating bath produces coatings up to 0.2 microns thick.

The solution contains no nickel, lead or cadmium.

The resulting finish has the characteristic colour of rose gold, ideal for giving jewellery pieces an elegant and sophisticated appearance.

Specifications

• Coating thickness: up to 0.2 microns.

• Operating voltage: 4–5 V, depending on the size of the piece.

• Operating temperature: 60 °C.

• Plating time: 10–60 seconds.

• Anode-to-cathode ratio: 1:1.

• Anode type: V2 stainless steel.

• Agitation: moderate.

• Bath capacity: until the gold content in the solution (0.8 g) is depleted.

Instructions for Use

1. Pour the contents of the bottle into the designated electroplating container.

2. Securely suspend the piece to be gold-plated using copper wire.

3. Clean the piece using an ultrasonic cleaner or with soap and water.

4. Rinse thoroughly under running water.

5. Without touching the piece directly with your hands, connect the equipment's clip to the copper wire supporting it.

6. Immerse the piece in container No. 1, equipped with a stainless steel anode and electrolytic degreasing solution, for 30–45 seconds at a voltage of 4–6 V.

7. Rinse under running water.

8. Rinse with distilled water in container No. 2.

9. Immerse the piece in the rose gold plating bath, in container No. 4, for 1–3 minutes.

10. Rinse with distilled water in container No. 5.

11. Dry with a soft cloth.
